Closing Time

So today’s my last blogging day.  No problems here. It’s all good.  Just time to move it on.  Family and work gotta come first.  If I don’t got that right I’m dumber than you guys think I am.  Cutting down on posts isn’t the answer.  Shutting bad boy down is.  So gonna close the day out with a few more posts and hang up my jock. As a lot of you know I been thinking about it for awhile actually.  Gonna miss it? Of course.  Gonna keep my email alive so you knuckheads can keep in touch.  What will I miss most? The Comments.  Definitely.  You guys have been a freakin blast.  Even when you kick my ass.  Just time to call it a day.

  4. I will never learn to be brief, so you gotta suffer through this note.

You're the best Scott. Honest, integrity, funny, big heart, and pretty smart considering you're a jock! You're gonna struggle with those bi/curious feelings and the inner conflict. But remember you are not alone. We're right there with you dude. We know how you feel. There is nothing wrong with you, you're lucky to be able to feel so much.

Plesae keep keep your email open so we can ping you once in a while and vice versa. You're not just an invisible blogger on the internet. You're a great friend. We'll miss you bad dude.

    With brotherly love,
    Will

  10. Scott,
I'm glad that I met you on the internet, that time I was looking for a store. You replied and told me about your blog. It's been good. Learned a lot. Didn't know that there were so many guys out there dealing with all of what is going on in their lives. Sure did open my eyes. Thanks.
Maybe one day we will meet. We are not that far apart.
Tomorrow, I won't even bother turning on the computer.
Stay well. Be safe and God Bless You.
    bj.
P.S. When I am out walking these mountain roads, I will think of you and the rest of the guys and chic, too.

  14. you were here after i broke my back...a rugger who would never play again.

you were here as i jumped from bed to bed 70/30, str8/bi.

you were here to amuse, abuse and support me thru hospitalization after hospitalization after hospitalization.

you were here when i found the love of my life and my true identity.

i don't know your name, your address, what you look like, what you do, who you really are. we've never had a beer or watched a game.

so how can that be friendship? it just is! as deep a friendship as if we had known each other all our lives...because you were there when it counted.

so "cheers" to you and to that friendship!

    ON FRIENDSHIP by Kahlil Gibran

And a youth said, "Speak to us of Friendship."
Your friend is your needs answered.
He is your field which you sow with love and reap with thanksgiving.
And he is your board and your fireside.
For you come to him with your hunger, and you seek him for peace.
When your friend speaks his mind you fear not the "nay" in your own mind, nor do you withhold the "ay."
    And when he is silent your heart ceases not to listen to his heart;
For without words, in friendship, all thoughts, all desires, all expectations are born and shared, with joy that is unacclaimed.
    When you part from your friend, you grieve not;
For that which you love most in him may be clearer in his absence, as the mountain to the climber is clearer from the plain.
And let there be no purpose in friendship save the deepening of the spirit.
For love that seeks aught but the disclosure of its own mystery is not love but a net cast forth: and only the unprofitable is caught.
And let your best be for your friend.
If he must know the ebb of your tide, let him know its flood also.
For what is your friend that you should seek him with hours to kill?
Seek him always with hours to live.
For it is his to fill your need, but not your emptiness.
And in the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures.
For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed.

    pax tibi frater!

  17. Scott,
I remember one time, when you shared about getting off in the shower. The next morning, when I awoke, I was thinking of you and being in the shower. I was in bed and something nice started to come up. Must say, I got off thinking about you. I imagine that others have too. You made more than one impressions.

So guys, make a note to follow my blog directly at http://hotbodz.blogspot.com as Scott is closing his link. And Scott, sorry to see you go, but do understand. So many guys are disappearing.. report back within the year and will be good to catch up. Dave

  22. What the Fuck!

I go and tend the herd on their summer pastures (that is not a euphemism, got my cowboy on this summer), and you decide that it is time to move on. Well shit, I was looking forward to be judgmental on your ass all winter.

I know you learned some thing about us over here on the dark side, and I learned that over-aged frat bois can actually change.

    Be well.
